Kosciusko County has more than 95 lakes which provides many opportunities for water and sport activities.

There are a number of annual attractions which bring residents and visitors out in droves. Among the most notable are the Mermaid Festival in North Webster, and the Fourth of July festivities around Lake Wawasee and Syracuse Lakes.

For the naturalist there is the Tri-County Fish and Wildlife area located between Syracuse and North Webster. Amid a host of winding gravel roads there are ten natural lakes and 3,500 acres to explore.

Kosciusko County is centrally located in the northern half of Indiana and is just 42 miles from Ft. Wayne, 118 miles from Chicago, 120 miles from Indianapolis, 194 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio, and 202 miles from Detroit, Michigan.

Warsaw is the county seat town and also the Orthopedic Capital of the world. Home prices range from $50,000 to $300,000 off water and $75,000 to $2,700,000 on water. There are many types of properties available and many lakes from large to small.
